Artist's Description

Orioles spend their winters in Mexico and Central and South America, where they can find a steady source of insects, fruit and nectar. Then they migrate north to nest in early spring.Truly happy to see them in my yard this summer! I have tried in years past,but this is the first year I've managed to keep them around for longer then a few fly-byes :)

As a child I had a great love for our family photos; we didn't have many, but that made every one of them special. Coming from a family who had so little, a camera was out of the question. It wasn’t until my teenage years I got one, which sparked my love affair with photography! I got married, gave up photography, had wonderful children and got a divorce. A few years later I got remarried to a beautiful supportive man who encouraged me to pick up the camera again. So here I am... I have taken several on-line photography classes.
